దేవుళ్ళేనా అవతరాలెత్తేదీ..? దయ్యాలెత్తవూ..?!
హీరోలు మారినప్పుడు.. విలన్లు మారరూ?
అలాగే, నీతి మారినప్పుడు, అవినీతీ మారుతుంది.
ఒకప్పటి అవినీతి అంటే- మామూలు, బల్లకింద చెయ్యి, అమ్యామ్యా..! ‘సంతోషం’. అవును ఇది కూడా అంచానికి ‘పర్యాయ పదం’. పుచ్చుకునే వాడు ముఖమాట పడుతూంటే ఇచ్చే వాడు ‘ఏదో, మా సంతోషం కొద్దీ..!’ అని నాలుగు కట్టలు చేతిలో పెడతాడు. లోపల మాత్రం కట్టలు తెగిన దు:ఖం వుంటుంది లెండి.
‘లంచం తీసుకుంటున్నావ్‌ కదా! పట్టుబడితే..?’
‘అంచమిచ్చి బయిట పడతా!’
ఇది ఒక సంభాషణా శకలం కాదు; ఒక జీవన విధానం.
లంచం వజ్రం లాంటిది. లంచాన్ని లంచంతోనే కొనగలం; కొయ్యగలం. లంచగొండిని కొనాలన్నా లంచమివ్వాలి. వాడిని పట్టుకోవాలన్నా లంచం ఎర చూపాలి.

డ…డ…డ.. డబ్బున్న కోతి, డ…డ..డ…డబ్బున్న కొండముచ్చుకే కట్నమిస్తుంది.
డ…డ…డ…డబ్బున్న పార్టీ వాళ్ళు, డ…డ…డ.. డబ్బున్న మరో పార్టీ వాళ్ళకే… డబ్బులిచ్చి మద్దతు పుచ్చుకుంటాడు.
జబ్బున్న వాడికే జబ్బులొచ్చినట్లు,
డబ్బున్న వాడికే ఎప్పుడూ డబ్బు చేస్తుంటుంది.
ప్రమాదాలు సంభవించినప్పుడే నాయకులొస్తారు. ప్రమాదాలనే కొందరు- ఉద్యమాలు- అని కూడా అంటారు.
ఇప్పుడు దేశానికో ప్రమాదం వచ్చింది- అదే అవినీతి!
ఇలా అంటే నవ్వుగా లేదూ? చెవిలో పువ్వు పెట్టినట్టు లేదూ?
అవినీతి ఎప్పుడూ వుంది. స్వరాజ్యం రాముందూ వుంది. స్వరాజ్యం వచ్చాకా వుంది. మరి హఠాత్తుగా ఇప్పుడు ప్రమాదం అయ్యింది.
కారణం చిన్నది. ఈ అవినీతి పల్ల నిరుపేదలకు మాత్రమే కాకుండా, సంపన్నులకు కూడా తల బొప్పి కడుతోంది. వేల కోట్ల ప్రాజెక్టు ఒకటి నిలువుగా ఎదిగిన ఒక బడా వ్యాపారికి బదులు, ‘అడ్డంగా’ ఎదిగిన ఓ అడ్డగోలు వ్యాపారికి వస్తే..?
వస్తే.. ఏమిటి? అలా రావటమే ఇవాళ ‘అవినీతి’. ఇదే పెను ప్రమాదం.
One should not think that people are always innocent and harmless. They too do evil and encourage evil. In an elected democracy, every one is in need of people’s mandate and support. No one, who has public face, dares to pass a remark on People’s opportunistic thinking. People give their sanction even to the evils, that are declared crimes as per law. Classic examples for this sanction are — dowry and corruption. They take pride in giving and taking dowry. They consider it a status symbol. If they are unable to give, they curse their poverty and not the dowry system.
